It is with great sadness after last night’s announcement from the Prime Minister we have now temporarily closed the doors to WRG Pitney & Co and Balloonatic for the first time in 33 years since we opened in 1987.
However, we will still be taking email/telephone orders for Air Products and Calor Gas deliveries and our online ‘click & deliver’ service will be available for balloon deliveries.
Please rest assured that we are following advice from Public Health England relating to the deliveries to prevent the spread of the virus.
In the meantime, stay at home, protect our NHS & save lives!

11:00 – Tuesday 17th March 2020 – UPDATE
We can assure you we are continuing to closely monitor the COVID-19 outbreak across the UK and continuing to follow advice from the government and Public Health England (PHE).
After the first of many daily updates from the Prime Minister he has introduced an increase in social distancing. The Prime Minister is now suggesting people not to attend pubs, restaurants, cinemas and theaters in the fight against the spread.
This measures is going to effect upcoming weddings, parties, corporate events and the events industry itself. We are working closely with local venues and like other businesses and venues following advice from PHE.
At the moment we are still “business as usual” and will continue to remain open (Monday – Saturday 9AM – 5PM) for ALL walk-ins and pre-ordered collections/deliveries. However, we do politely ask you to NOT visit us if you have had any of the symptoms of coronavirus. But, we do still welcome telephone orders for delivery to any of these customers.

As many businesses, we are actively monitoring the situation with regards to the outbreak of COVID-19 and continuing to following advice from the government and Public Health England.
At present we are “business as usual” and have already implemented a number measures to protect the health and wellbeing of our staff and customers.
We are already seeing changes in our customers booking trends and are fully aware that the COVID-19 outbreak is going to cause disruptions to weddings, parties and corporate events in the coming weeks/months.
At the moment all orders are set to be fulfilled as normal, if due to the COVID-19 outbreak we are unable to fulfil your order we will be in contact by telephone or email.
