After last nights announcement we are happy to announce we will be re-opening our doors from 9AM on Monday 15th June.
We have followed advice from the Government and implemented a number of measures in-store to protect you and us; we are limiting the amount of customers in-store at any one time; hand sanitiser will be available on arrival; a perspex screen has been installed at our counter; 2M social distancing floor markings; and increased cleaning regime throughout the shop especially on high touch areas.
Whilst we are happy to welcome customers in-store we are still advising you to pre-order online for ‘Click & Collect’ or ‘Local Delivery’ at www.Balloonatic.co.uk/Shop – order up to 12noon for same day collection or delivery. And still offering next day local delivery for Air Products & Calor Gas bottles – please call 01795 667095 to book.
During this time our opening hours will be reviewed on a weekly basis. Our opening hours week commencing Monday 15th will be Monday – Saturday 9AM-2PM.
13:00 – Saturday 25th April 2020 – UPDATE
One month on and we thought we would give you an update on our current position with COVID-19. As it stands our doors still remain closed at WRG Pitney & Co and Balloonatic and we closely following advice from The Government and Public Health England on when we are able to re-open safely. We understand that social distancing will be with us for the foreseeable future – we are already implementing ‘changes’ on how we will run when we do open our doors.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support during this difficult time. Balloonatic are still accepting orders via the ‘Click & Collect‘ section of our website for balloon & party accessories – ALL orders are being fulfilled with FREE ‘contactless’ local delivery. And WRG Pitney & Co are still accepting orders for Air Products & Calor Gas via Phone (01795 667095) & Email for local next day delivery. Please note we are only offering delivery on the Isle of Sheppey at the moment.

09:00 – Tuesday 24th March 2020 – UPDATE
It is with great sadness after last night’s announcement from the Prime Minister we have now temporarily closed the doors to WRG Pitney & Co and Balloonatic for the first time in 33 years since we opened in 1987.
However, we will still be taking email/telephone orders for Air Products and Calor Gas deliveries and our online ‘click & deliver’ service will be available for balloon deliveries.
Please rest assured that we are following advice from Public Health England relating to the deliveries to prevent the spread of the virus.
In the meantime, stay at home, protect our NHS & save lives!

11:00 – Tuesday 17th March 2020 – UPDATE
We can assure you we are continuing to closely monitor the COVID-19 outbreak across the UK and continuing to follow advice from the government and Public Health England (PHE).
After the first of many daily updates from the Prime Minister he has introduced an increase in social distancing. The Prime Minister is now suggesting people not to attend pubs, restaurants, cinemas and theaters in the fight against the spread.
This measures is going to effect upcoming weddings, parties, corporate events and the events industry itself. We are working closely with local venues and like other businesses and venues following advice from PHE.
At the moment we are still “business as usual” and will continue to remain open (Monday – Saturday 9AM – 5PM) for ALL walk-ins and pre-ordered collections/deliveries. However, we do politely ask you to NOT visit us if you have had any of the symptoms of coronavirus. But, we do still welcome telephone orders for delivery to any of these customers.

As many businesses, we are actively monitoring the situation with regards to the outbreak of COVID-19 and continuing to following advice from the government and Public Health England.
At present we are “business as usual” and have already implemented a number measures to protect the health and wellbeing of our staff and customers.
We are already seeing changes in our customers booking trends and are fully aware that the COVID-19 outbreak is going to cause disruptions to weddings, parties and corporate events in the coming weeks/months.
